[47128] "Lebanon Daily News [Lebanon, Pennsylvania], 10 August 1964," p. 2: "Paul H. Hain, 41, died of a coronary occlusion about midnight Sunday.at his home, 1415 E. Caracas Ave., Hershey (Palmdale). Hain had not been feeling well and had not been working for a week. He was preparing to return to his job Monday. Since his discharge from the Army in 1945, he had been foreman in charge of maintenance at Indiantown Gap. He also worked part - time as an electrician for J. M. VanScyoc, Hershey. An active member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Palmyra, Hain served as treasurer of the Young Adults Class and as church school librarian. He was also a member of American Legion Post 72, Palmyra; the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lebanon and the Hershey Volunteer Fire Company. During World War Two, he was a member of the 863rd Engineering Company and served in the Philippines. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Detweiler Hain; one son, Dennis P, daughter, Robin L., both at home; two sisters, Lydia, wife of Douglas S. Dotter Jr., Annville, and Margaret, wife of Walter H. Risser, Hershey. He was the son of the late Paul J. and Susan Tschopp Hain."

Doug was born in Blue Hill, October 5, 1929, son of Hollis and Martha (Candage) Stover. He attended school in Blue Hill, graduating from George Stevens Academy in 1948. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Doug was a custodian at the Blue Hill Consolidated School for 40 years before retiring in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, long walks (the Mountain Road being his favorite), gardening and all sports. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Virginia Allen, Helen Ferry, Mary Lutz, and Lillian Stover."
