Betsy Foster (see under Richard Hicks) reports; "Lydia married Edward Bangs and their daughter Rebecca married Jonathan Sparrow on October 28, 1654 in Eastham, MA. ...following reference to the Sparrow family ... I found it out in the library in Barrington, Illinois: Sparrow, Richard, born England; died New England Jan 8, 1660: Certain members of the Sparrow family of England owned shares in the Virginia Company and were probably among the early planters of Jamestown, but had become discouraged about conditions in that settlement previous to 1630; therefore, it is not surprising to find Richard Sparrow, his wife and son Jonathan residents of Plymouth as early as 1632. The will of Richard is dated Nov 19, 1660."

[9461] "The Perry County Times, 11 June 1953," p. 10: "Loysville, June 9. James M. Morrow, 69, of Landisburg, R. D., died early Thursday morning in the Carlisle Hospital. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Kerr, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Harold Fleisher, of Landisburg, R. D.; three sons, James R., of Buffalo, Pa.; Thomas F., of Landisburg, R. D., and Joseph C, of Loysville; a brother, Charles M., of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sheaffer, of Ickesburg, and Mrs. Samuel Wagner of Harrisburg, and six grandchildren." James and Mary also had Laura Arlene Morrow, their third child, who died in infancy and is buried in the Restland Cemetery at Loysville.
