He bravely fought an ongoing battle with heart problems and cancer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle. He was born April 7, 1937, at his grandparent's home in Eastbrook, the third child of seven and first son to Woodrow Wilson Archer and Fern Strout Archer. Reginald grew up in Stetson and as a lad worked with his dad and grandfather in their family lumber mill. He graduated Stetson Grammar School and Higgins Classical Institute in 1956, where he was described by faculty as a good citizen and student. Reginald served his country in the Air Force from 1956 to 1960, including a stint in Japan. He then enrolled in Bible Institute of New England in Vermont, where he met his wife-to-be, Diana Fassett. Together they served as pastor and wife of several churches. He later settled his family in Gloversville, N.Y. There he served as a faithful Christian worker in his community. Reginald was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Vivian and husband, Robert Engel; son, Reginald Archer Jr.; granddaughters, Jennifer and Amy Engel; sisters, Jacquelyn Tardiff, Kathleen Underhill, Lorraine Thibodeau and husband, John, Theresa Gray and husband, Clyde, Carol Laplant and husband, Richard; and only brother, Craig Archer and wife, Donna."

Lynn loved her special companion, Mo-Mo the dog. She was predeceased by a son, David Bushey; and her brother, Robert Mayhew."
