[11288] From "The Weekly Genealogist, Vol. 13, No. 43", published by the NEHGS: Name Origins, by Julie Helen Otto: "LOUIS (m): This name, originally the Frankish CHLODOWEG, was introduced to what is now France by the Franks in the very early Middle Ages. It evolved into one of the most popular French male names, used at every level of society, perhaps most famously by the Bourbon kings: Louis XIII, "the Just" (1601-1643, king from 1610); his son Louis XIV, 'le Grand' (1638-1715, king from 1643, whose long reign practically made the given name a royal institution); his grandson Louis XV (1710-1774, king from 1715), and Louis XV's grandson, Louis XVI (1754-1793, king from 1774)."
[50375] Find A Grave memorial offers Beatrice's obituary: "Beatrice Louise Bradstreet, age 84, of Colchester, passed away on November 21, 2019, at Backus Hospital in Norwich. Born on November 10, 1935 in Houlton, ME, she was a daughter of the late Frederick John and Raphie Etta (Smith) Hanlon. She married her beloved husband Dana and the couple moved to Colchester where they made their home and raised their family. The couple was married for 57 years before Dana predeceased her on September 9, 2014. Beatrice retired in 1993 after a long and successful career as an Executive Assistant at AETNA Insurance Co. Beatrice was an active member of the Colchester Federated Church where she served as past President and Treasurer of Womens Fellowship, Sunday school teacher and superintendent, Baptist clerk, and she served on the Diaconate. Beatrice enjoyed Bible study, spending time with close friends and family, jigsaw and crossword puzzles and she loved camping with her family and traveling to five continents. Most importantly, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and Mimi. She will be sadly missed but always remembered with love by her children, Steven and his wife Judean Bradstreet of Colchester, Beth Ann and her husband Michael Voiland of Colchester, Krista and her husband Glenn MacGregor of Glastonbury; thirteen grandchildren, Sarah, Leah, Rebekah, Dayna, Therese, Jesse, Joseph, Kaitlin, Jacob, Joshua, Charlotte, Cameron, and Caleb; five great grandchildren, Kolton, Kody, Beatrice, Evelyna, and Logan; and numerous extended family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her siblings, Frederick Hanlon Jr., Kenneth Hanlon, and Verda Macala."

[36074] This person is from the unverified Stephen M. Dailey family tree in Ancestry.com in 2014.
[9298] William is son of J. V. Simmons and Emeline Winchell McDowell. Ancestry.com offers: "Simmons Name Meaning - English (southern): patronymic either from the personal name Simon (see Simon) or, as Reaney and Wilson suggest, from the medieval personal name Simund (composed of Old Norse sig 'victory' + mundr 'protection'), which after the Norman Conquest was taken as an equivalent Simon, with the result that the two names became confused."
