[61514] Granville's obituary: "Granville 'Randy' H. Follett, 84, died February 14, 2007 at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born in Woodstock, NB, November 10, 1922 the son of John and Pearl (DeLong) Follett. Granville was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the European Theater of World War II and two tours in the Korean Conflict, receiving the Purple Heart and Good Conduct Medal for his service. He had been a member of a Tank Battalion and enjoyed the reunions which were held every two years. He had retired from active service after over 20 years in 1965. He then went to work at the Winter Harbor Naval Station, retiring in 1976. He was a life member of the Winter Harbor Lodge #192 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Bodies, Anah Shrine of Bangor and Hancock County Shrine Club. He is survived by a daughter, Pearl F. Barto and husband Roger; grandsons, Jacob H. Barto and James C. Barto all of Winter Harbor; uncle and aunt, Thomas and Phyllis Follett of Augusta and and sister-in-law, Lois Crowley, of Corea ; special friend, Elaine Smith of Ellsworth. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Agnes on February 24, 1970 and son, Richard Follett on October 10, 1971."

Crowley, a longtime resident of Hancock County, passed away at the age of 82, Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, in Ellsworth. Barbara was born March 11, 1930, to Walter and Ruby (Young) Leighton in Bass Harbor. She grew up in the Jonesport area and graduated from Jonesport High School. It was also in Jonesport where she was courted and married to Victor Crowley. They then settled in Corea, where he worked as a fisherman. Barbara made her own vocation as a case packer, retiring from Stinson Canning after over 30 years of service. In her free time she liked listening to country and western music and, in younger years, Barbara and Victor enjoyed dancing together. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Ruby Bragdon and her husband, Robert, of Winter Harbor; brother, Harry Leighton and his wife, Mary, of Red Lion, Pa.; sisters, Georgia Wass of Newark, Calif., Lola Knight of Birch Harbor, Patricia Carver and her husband, George 'Sonny' Jr., of Addison, and Gertrude Nickerson of Hancock; grandson, David Byers and his wife, Shannon, of Lamoine; two special little boys who called her 'Grammie Gee,' Brett and Wyatt Bragdon; four stepgrandchildren; several great-stepgrandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband in 1993; and stepdaughter, Jody Crowley. Barbara's family wishes to extend their appreciation to stepgranddaughter, Barbara Jean Bragdon, and friend, Gail Backman, for all of their care and help."
