[31254] A file in Ancestry.com offers: Fifty Great Migration Colonists to New England & Their Origins, John Brooks (Madison, WI: Threlfall Publication, 1990), p. 80: Peter had a short life. He evidently became ill and made his will 18 August 1616. He died a week later. Three days after his burial, his widow proved the will. Peter Brackett's will reads: 8 August 1616 - I Peter Brackett of Sudbury in the countie of Suff and diocesse of Norwich being sicke in bodie but whole in minde ... Rachell my wiffe shall have all my goods chattells and impliments of householde in consideration that she shall bringe up my children and pay unto every one of my children twentye shillings apeece as namely Peter Richard and Rachell and my will is that that childe wch my wiffe is wth childe wth shall have twenty shillings to be paid unto them at their severall ages of Twenty and one yeares and if any of them doe dye before their portion to be divided among them that shalbe liveing. Item I will and my mynde is that my father Richard Bracket shall have the rente of my house in the pishe of St. Peters in Sudburye wherein one Martyn London now dwelleth during his naturall life and after his deceasse I will and my minde is that my said house shalbe solde by my wiffe and the money thereof to be devided amonge my children that shalbe then living and my will is that my eldest sonne Peter Bracket shall have ffive pounds more then the residue. Owen demanded a ransom from Henry IV to free Edmund but Henry refused to pay. Edmund decided to join Owen Glendower's cause. He even married Owen's daughter Katherine. ...(Owain Glyn Dwr) A wealthy land owner in Wales. Glendower owned land both in North Wales and in Pembrokeshire. In 1400 Glendower and his rival Lord Grey of Rutin had a dispute over land. The King of England sided with Rutin and so Glendower rose up in revolt against the English in North Wales."

Memorial # 29210918 states Samuel is son of Thomas Morrow and Margaret McCullough. "The Perry County Times [New Blooomfield, PA], 1 March 1923," p. 3: "Samuel C. Morrow died at his home in Loysville, February 22nd, after an illness of three days. The deceased was a son of Thomas and Margaret (McCullough) Morrow, and was born in Juniata county, August 10, 1838. He was aged 84 years, 6 months and 12 days. Mr. Morrow was married May 8, 1862, to Susan Valentine, who survives with five sons and three daughters, namely: Margaret (Mrs. Lewis Ellerman) of near Landisburg; Charles, E., of Wilkinsburg, Pa.; Harry C, of Newport; Mary J., (Mrs. Jesse M. Sheaffer) of Kistler; Albert, of near Landisburg; Carrie B., (Mrs. S. C. Wagner) of Harrisburg; James M., of near Loysville; William D., of Newell, Pa. Thirty-nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive. The deceased was the last survivor of a large family and was among the few Civil War veterans left in this community. He enlisted September 10, 1862, to serve three years, or during the war, in Co. F, 16th Reg., Penna. Cavalry, and was discharged July 24, 1865, at Lynchburg, Va."

He was bom June 18, 1917, at Milbridge, the son of Estella R. and John E. Strout. He graduated form Milbridge High School in 1935. He was employed in the Milbridge area as a truck driver for several years until he moved to Portland in 1942 and was employed there as a city bus driver for 36 years. He returned to Milbridge in 1978 and worked as a school bus driver for S.A.D. 37 until he retired in 1991. He was a faithful and devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Cherryfield, where he was a youth group leader with Awana, a lay minister and was a driver for the church's bus ministry. He was also a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 0714 of Portland. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Olive Mae on Nov. 10, 2000. He is survived by his sister, Madelyn and her husband, Charles Phinney of Milbridge; a very dear and close friend, Alton Wallace and his wife, Allison; nieces, Linda and Dawn Marie; nephews, Woodrow, Ernie, Dana and Bruce; several cousins and grand nieces and nephews."
