She is survived by the following children: James, of Bowmansvllle; Mrs. Louisa Hartman, of Oakland; Absalom, of Mohn's Hill; Thomas, of Terre Hill; Jacob, Frank and Benjamin, living in East Cocalieo township; Mrs. John Trostle and Mrs. Samuel Zerphy, living near home. The funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock, with services and interment at Muddy Creek Reformed Church. Rev. S. Schweitzer, of Ephrata, will conduct the services."

Her dedication to caring for others was evident during the years she worked as a CNA at the Presque Isle nursing home. Her compassion and willingness to care for others continued until the time of her death. Susan enjoyed listening to country music, fishing, watching baseball & harness racing and keeping in contact with family and friends via the telephone. Her many pets over the years were consider to be her 'babies' and spoiling them was her specialty.
