[2680] King Einion received the north as his share of his father's lands, while his brother Ceretic received Cardigan and Merioneth. Einion's patrimony was divided between his sons, Catwallaun Longhand and Ewein Whitetooth (killed by Maelgwn). {-"The Age of Arthur," John Morris (Scribner's, 1973, p.204)} See http://www.earlybritishkingdoms.com/gene/gwynped.html and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einion_Yrth_ap_Cunedda

[55685] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]," 29 January 2024: "Belfast - On Jan. 22, 2024, Jason 'Jake' Eugene Farnsworth passed away at the Waldo County Hospital in Belfast. Jason was born in Bar Harbor, on Dec. 6, 1955. He was the fourth child of Charlotte Rich. As a child, Jason loved playing baseball and being involved in the Boy Scouts. He was once given a yellow Tonka Truck as a gift, which he slept with at night. As an adult, he enjoyed riding his Harley all over the United States and Canada. His riding partners, who you could usually find by his side, were his beloved sister, Betty, and her husband Barry. He was always happy when his niece Chantelle would visit - with a plate of brownies in hand. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and clamming. He took pride in being able to live off the land as a way to provide for his family. Jason was also proudly a black belt in karate. Jason worked as a fisherman, as well as a carpenter. He would blueprint and design homes, something he took a lot of pride in. Many homes he designed and built can be seen on Mount Desert Island and throughout Hancock County. Jason was predeceased by his mother, Charlotte Rich. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Farnsworth of Bucksport; his children, Willam Bishko and his partner, Elizabeth Bridges of Maine, Lanicka Lindsey of Washington, Brendan Farnsworth and his wife, Victoria Mangio of Washington, DC; and Lauren Farnsworth and her husband, Jon Rice of Maine. Jason also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Hayley and Willam Bishko, Jade dÂ’Entremont, Emma, Florence and Jakob Lindsey and Lily Rice. He is survived by his siblings, Betty, Laura, Hazel, Leslie and Bessie. He is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins."

[49831] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 4 January 2022": "Dover-Foxcroft - Patrick 'Pat' L. Leighton, passed away on December 19, 2021. Pat was born on July 1, 1949, in Bangor, Maine, to Clyde L. Leighton of Willimantic, and Gertrude Stanchfield of Monson. Pat grew up in Dover-Foxcroft and graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1967. He attended the University of Maine at Farmington, graduating in 1971, and married the love of his life, Judy, later that same year on August 14th. Pat and Judy lived in Millinocket for a few years, then returned to Dover-Foxcroft, where both continued their teaching careers. Pat taught mostly fifth grade for many years, before retiring early due to Parkinson's Disease. Pat always had a love and desire to travel. He enjoyed his retirement by taking several trips to Florida. Pat finally took a family trip to Florida where he could explore and play tour guide to his wife and daughter. A wonderful memory that he remembered for the rest of his life. Pat's favorite job was being a father. He was so completely devoted to this role. He was always up for an adventure, playing a game at home, and he always made time for family. Pat loved to spend time socializing with his poker buddies. Growing up as an only child, he treasured this time as an adult and so looked forward to the monthly card games. He loved being "one of the guys," showing off his quick wit, and great sense of humor. Pat will be greatly missed by everyone, especially by his daughter. Pat was predeceased by his wife, Judy, of 49 years and they are now together in Heaven. Pat was also predeceased by his father, Clyde, and his mother, Gertrude. Pat is survived by his daughter, Amy of Dover-Foxcroft; and his brother-in-law, Michael Collins and his wife, Arvilla, of Englewood, FL. He is also survived by several special nieces and nephews. He is also remembered by many special friends who became like family. Pat would want to be honored by listening to Willie Nelson, eating Peanut M&M's, and to never backtrack but instead take a new road."
