[8323] "Livingston County Daily Press and Argus [Howell, Michigan], 29 November, 1995," p. 18: "Ethelyn Arvord Yago. 89. of Howell, died on Nov. 22 at Medllodge of Howell. Mrs. Yago was born on Aug. 3, 1906, the daughter of John William and Elma (Beatty) Tucker in Pioneer, Ohio. She married Charles E. Yago on April 8, 1926. in Howell and he preceded her in death in 1983. At the age of 8, she moved from Ohio to the Webberville area and later to the Mason School district. After her marriage, she lived on the family farm on Sober Road until 1962, when they moved to Chandler, Ariz. She lived there, traveling to the Navaho lands for fishing trips, until the death of Charles in 1983, when she moved back to Howell. Surviving are three daughters, Betty Smyth of Howell, Patricia Therrien of DeWltt, and Marilyn Wllber of Charlotte; two sons, Charles E. Yago Jr. of Michigan and Robert Yago of Fowlerville; 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister, Florence Reed of Webberville. Mrs. Yago was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles, on June 26, 1983, and two daughters. Phyllis in 1927 and Flora Brockman In 1992. Services were held on Nov. 25 at the Liverance Funeral Home in Fowlerville, Dr. David Russel of the First United Methodist Church of Howell officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville."
