She was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Michigan. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, John Noble Brumm, her father, Clinton Jewell I, mother, Viva Southard Jewell, two infant sisters; her brother Clinton 'Pete' Jewell II and his wife Patricia, who was a sister, not just a sister-in-law; and special cousins, Joe and Mary Louise Geierman, Emily Hodgman, Richard Jewell, Betty Lasley, Verely Nable, Richard Sellers and Dorothy Hague. She lived an amazing life. She volunteered in the inner city of Detroit working with the poor and teaching children to read. In Hawaii, she was part of group that fed the homeless, taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school in Texas, she worked with the needy, visited people in nursing homes, taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school She taught her children, grandfather and great grandchildren how to help the needy, care for people, what unconditional love meant, how important family is and the love of God. She will be terribly missed, but her family rejoices in the knowledge that she is in heaven and we will all be together again one day."
