[12983] Elizabeth m. (1) John Skillin(gs) and (2) Elihu Gunnison (- "Gen. Dict. of ME & NH," p. 368).
[25861] See notes for wife, Patience Cobb. "The New England Historical and Genealogical Register" (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society), 112:193-4, argues that VR Barnstable which reports death in 1680 (Source:Mayflower Descendant, p. 11:131, 'Barnstable, Mass., Vital Records': "Robert Parker Deceas'd ye Last of September 1680" is probably wrong. He was admitted to the church on 20 Jan 1683/4. His children Elisha and Alice were admitted 13 Apr 1684 with no evidence that he was deceased. However, deceased by 2 Mar 1684/5 when "Att a Court of Assistance held the 2nd of March 1684/5, the Court confirmed the aforesaid agreement of the [division of] propperties...". Ancestry.com offers: "Parker Name Meaning - English: occupational name for a gamekeeper employed in a medieval park, from an agent derivative of Middle English parc park (see Park 1). This surname is also found in Ireland."
