[31927] This line is from the unverified Powers Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2011 which states Thomas m. 12 Feb 1593 in Stoke, Devonshire Mary Simon (1575-1643). An unferified file in http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com offers: ". . . with his son Joseph came from Devonshire, England and settled in our Hing. prior to the arrival of Rev. Peter Hobart and his company in 1635. At the first drawing of house-lots, Sept. 18, 1635, he had five acres granted to him on Town (North) St. His lot was the one upon which now stands the dwelling owned by heirs of the late Perez Lincoln. . . . Rev. Peter Hobart wrote in his diary under the date of Aug. 21, 1643, 'Old Thomas Andrews dyed.'"
[49764] Edgar is son of Edgar F. Corliss & Jennie Libby.
[3341] He may be son of a Bernard de Baliol. He is probably the man of this name who as one of the northern barons raised the siege of Alnwick and took William the Lion, King of Scotland, prisoner in 1174. His grandson (via son Hugh), John, married Devorguila (d. 1290), daughter of Alan, Earl of Galloway, and became King of Scotland (d. 1315). The Baliol family were firmly established in Lothian by the time of King John. They were established by King William II ("Rufus") in Teesdale and at Bywell-on-Tyne.
