[58232] Find A Grave memorial 135988789 offers: "Benjamin was a corporal during the Revolutionary War. . . .During the War of 1812, Benjamin was captured by the British at Norwood's Cove and later released. His famous command to his son during the Battle of Norwood's Cove, when the British held him prisoner in the bottom of one of their boats, has made him on of Maine's heroes. 'Never mind me, Rob,' he shouted, 'I'm an old man; but give it to those dashed Britishers as hard as you can!'"
