Myers and Jerry A. Clouse (Harriburg, PA: 1984), pp. 58-9, and the newsletter of The Perry Historians, Vol. 9, No. 5 (Sept., 1984), p. 5. A posting in Ancestry.com in 2006 states that Henry is son of Nicholas Hollenbaugh (b. 21 Jan 1759 in Lynn, PA) and Anna Elizabeth Balmer (d. 28 Apr 1806), and that Nicholas is son of George Michael Hollenbaugh (b. 30 March 1720 in Lindflur Franken, Germany, d. in 1790 in PA) and Anna Margaretha Dietemer [sic](daughter of John Jacob Dietmer). The 1860 federal census of Madison Twp., Perry Co., PA shows a Henry Hollenbaugh (age 76, a carpenter) with wife Catharine (78), Lydia Hollenbaugh (46) and Roxannah Arnold (60).
