At about age 14 she married William de Blois, 4th Earl of Surrey, the son of King Stephan of England. With his death some ten years later, she married for a second time to Hamelin d'Anjou, an illegitimate half brother of King Henry II, he would adopt both her name and title, and their descendants all bore the name de Warenne. The couple had at least five children including their eldest son, William, the future 6th Earl of Surrey. She died at about age 63 and was interred at the Chapter House at Lewes Priory, in Sussex. "Telegraph-Forum [Bucyrus, Ohio], 8 August 1931," p. 2: "Heart failure caused the death of J. C. Ertinger, 78, who died at the Crawford County Infirmary at seven o'clock Thursday evening. He had been in ill health for the past three months. Mr Erzinger waa born August 14, 1853 in Polk township. He was married to Sarah Price. To this union six chtdren were born, five of whom survive. He was admitted to the county home about eight years ago. Surviving are five children: Mrs. Mott of near Shelby; Mrs. John Johnson of Shelby; Mrs. Malone of Elyria; Miss Antiona Erzinger of Cleveland; and a son, Bruce s. Erztinger of San Bernado, Calif. One brother, Jacob Erzinger of Bucyrus, passed away a few years ago. Thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive."
