[21882] Annabell is daughter of Ulick de Burgh of Clanricarde, 5th earl and marquess. Ulick (1604-1657) assisted James Butler, 12th earl of Ormonde, in his attempt to unite Catholic and Protestant royalists and hold Ireland loyal to Charles I against the rebellious English Parliament. When Ormonde left Ireland (1650), he named Clanricarde his deputy. Clanricarde made peace (1652) with ParliamentÂ’s triumphant Lord General, Oliver Cromwell, in Ireland as requested by Charles II.

[61833] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 25 March 2026: "Frankfort, Maine - James Louis Ginn, 82, passed away March 18, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 1, 1944, in Hampden, Maine, the son of Clinton Sr. and Mary 'Helen' (Tripp) Ginn. James was a lifelong hard worker, learning the ropes at a young age while working alongside his father. He later cut wood for Jim Hatch before striking out on his own. After many years in the woods, a pinched nerve made the uneven terrain difficult to navigate, so he transitioned to operating heavy equipment. Throughout the years, James drove machinery for several local companies, including Peter Tripp, Mike Tripp, and Vaughan Thibodeau. Anyone who knew James knew he was at his happiest behind the wheel of a piece of equipment! Though he officially retired in 2005 following a prostate cancer diagnosis, James never truly slowed down. Despite various health battles, he powered through and always kept busy. He continued taking on odd jobs operating machinery and even put up his own firewood every year, right up until his final year. James is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda (White) Ginn; his daughter, Jamie Fraser and her husband, Doug; daughter, Sarah Ginn; 'grandkids,' Clint Fraser, Belle Yeo, Devyn Talgo, Jillian Wight, Aliyah Ginn, Shane Talgo and Troy Fraser; siblings, Bernard Ginn and his girlfriend, Peg Mace, Jane Rancourt and her husband, Charlie, Nancy Hammond and her husband, Jerry, Mary Jean Philbrick and Clinton 'Hottie' Ginn Jr. and his wife, Ruth; and lots special nieces and nephews and special friends, such as Joel Lane and Doug Mitchell. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth, Stanley 'Dicky' and Andrew Ginn; and sisters, Louise Bragg and her husband, Dale, and Margeret Parsons and her husband, Bob. James was well known and well loved. He had lots of friends and was always known to be hardworking, honest and kind. He will be greatly missed."

[53693] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 12 May 2023: "Sullivan - Margaret Haskell Thurston, 70, passed away at home on May 7, 2023. The eldest daughter of George and Ruth (Smart) Thurston, Margaret was born in Sorrento in 1952, and attended schools in Sorrento, Sullivan, and Machiasport. A 1970 graduate of Machias Memorial High School, she graduated from the University of Maine at Orono as a French major. While at Maine, Margaret earned distinction as one of the first women to participate in a coed varsity sport as a member of the riflery team. After a stint in the Air Force and Air Force Reserves, Margaret earned a Masters in Linguistics from The Ohio State University. She had a long and distinguished career as a linguist in the Department of Defense in the DC area. Although life took her to many different places, Margaret was always a Mainer at heart and retired to Sullivan, where she was an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ellsworth and the Sullivan-Sorrento Historical Society. Margaret had broad interests including travel far and near, genealogy, wooden ships, old cemeteries, and family adventures. She had a lively intellect with a love of words and language and was a loyal fan of the Orioles and Red Sox. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Thurston of Machias; brother, Tom (Fuzzy) Thurston and Liz Conrad of Nine Mile Falls, Washington; and sisters, Betsy Thurston of Machias, Cathy and Jim Kotredes of Brewer, Ellen and Jim Pletz of Wilmington, Delaware and Sally Thurston of Maynard, Massachusetts. Margaret was close to her many nieces and nephews and their families, as well as her cousin Roger Thurston of Lexington, Kentucky. Margaret was predeceased by her father, George Thurston.
