His obituary: "Charles R. Perkeybile, 83, of Mansfield, died Monday, June 07, 2010, at MedCentral Hospital. Born November 18, 1926, in Mansfield, he was the son of Merl and Pearl (Briner) Perkeybile. He was a 1944 graduate of Mansfield Senior High and a graduate of Miami University. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Perkeybile retired from Goodyear where he was an account manager and enjoyed playing golf. He had a great love for his dog, Otis. Surviving are three sons, Robert (Cheryl) Perkeybile, Ray (Cindy) Perkeybile and Richard (Paige) Perkeybile; six granddaughters; his long time companion, Gloria Reichert; and his loyal dog, Otis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Perkeybile; his parents; a brother, Jack Charters; and a sister, Ruth Ann Lucas."
