C & B of the 78th PA Volunteers (infantry); when serving he is described as 5'10" with brown hair, of Clarion Co., PA, a blacksmith. He was wounded 31 Dec 1862 at Srone River, TN and received a pension. He also had Elmer (1866), Charles D. (1869), Elvi S. (1872) and Calvin A. (1873) per Lauretta Griggs (3/00). His parents are from the unverified Buckhouse Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012.

She was born and always lived in Corinna. She was of the Christian Science faith. Mrs. Libby is the mother of ten children. She is survived by her husband and children, Mrs. Marjorie Goodwin of Levant, Leland of Weymouth, Mass., Mrs. Harriett Mann of Hawthorne, N.Y., Herbert and Paul of Millinocket, Mrs. Helen Condon of Newport, Mrs. Ruth Inman of Dexter, Mrs. Cora Skillings of Boston, Mass., Halbert and Phillip who live at home; 26 grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Dearborn of Corinna, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Skeels of Williams, Arizona." Addie is daughter of James Stuart Dearborn (1837-1900) & Harriet A. Stubbs (1836-1921; m. 27 March 1859 in Corinna, Penobscot Co., ME). [1669] Rognald was apparently the last non-Rurikid (i.e. Viking) prince of Polotzk and he is father of Rogneide of Polotzk. From the Great Soviet Encyclopedia: "Prince Vladimir Sviatoslavich [of Keiv] conquered the principality [of Polotsk] at the end of the 10th century, killing the Polotskian Prince Rogvolod [and marrying Rognald/Rogvolod's daughter, Rogneide]. Vladimir later bequeathed Polotsk to his son Iziaslav."
