With a passion for food and people, Frank dedicated his career to working as a chef in the restaurant industry. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, grilling, playing Frisbee, listening to classic rock, and spending a day on the lake. Frank is survived by his partner, Elaine White of Bangor; his sons, Coty Wardwell of Washington, D.C., and Casey Wardwell of Holden, along with his daughter-in-law, Amanda Wardwell; his grandson, Oliver Byron Wardwell; his sister-in-law, Patti Rump; his sister-in-law, Paulette Wardwell; and his brother-in-law, Jerome Andrews. He is also remembered by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Ruth (Colby) Wardwell and William 'Bill' Wardwell; as well as his siblings, Joyce (Wardwell) Andrews, James Wardwell, Timothy Wardwell, and Ellen (Wardwell) McElvain and brother-in-law, William 'Bill' McElvain, and Dana Wardwell."
