Tupper, 60, died early Saturday morning at Franklin County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for less than a day. He was born in Fairfield, Vt., June 19, 1908, son of Frederick and Maud Wright Tupper, educated in schools of Fairfield and was a graduate of Norwich University, Conn. Mr. Tupper had been a railroad man for more than 35 years with his most recent position as station agent for the Maine Central Railroad. He had been a resident of Canton for the past eight years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Franklin, Vt., and attended the Congregational there. In 1934, he married the former Lillian Daigneault. He is survived by his widow; a son, Frederick Jr. of Canton; a daughter, Mrs. George Darling, New Castle; and two grandchildren."
