[50982] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 13 July 2022": "Glenburn - Thomas O. Goss, 79, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife, Barbara, on July 4, 2022. He was born May 1, 1943, in Bangor, to the late Owen L. and Eloise M. (Higgins) Goss. Thomas graduated from Hermon High School, class of 1961. He went on to attend the University of Maine in Orono and received an associate's degree in Agriculture. He worked for the Maine Central Railroad, where he retired after 28 years. He always kept busy working on cars, motorcycles and using his carpentry skills whenever needed. He was a big fan of both Harleys and BSA motorcycles and he enjoyed restoring and riding many of them. He and Barbie enjoyed go camping, spending time at the fairs with their friends and taking trips to Prince Edward Island. He was a member of the Cross-Point Church and was always a helping hand to many. Surviving in addition to his loving wife, Barbara Goss, are his daughters, Tammi and Mike Reynold, and Kelly and Larry Coon; his stepchildren, Chris Page, Vicki and John Dall, Angela McLaughlin, and Wendy Page; his brothers; Rodney Higgins, Gary and Meredyth Goss, Leland and Deborh Goss; And many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren."

She was buried in Porter (Rea) Cemetery, St. Joseph County, next to her daughter, Susanna Tschupp Smith. Her first husband was Daniel Paulus, born in Pennsylvania. They married in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania and moved to Stark County, Ohio about 1814. It was there that her first husband died and she met her second husband, Jacob Tschupp. He was born in 1757 and died in Stark County Ohio ca. 1833. They married on January 18, 1818 in Stark County, Ohio and had five children. After Jacob's death, Hannah moved to St. Joseph County, Indiana to be near her children."

She was born March 22, 1926, in Brewer, the daughter of Lewis and Marion (McDougall) Moore. She attended local schools in Brewer and Bangor. On April 12, 1947, Ethel married her beloved husband Charles Ernest 'Charlie' Hatch. They were married for 63 years until Charlie's death Nov. 24, 2010. When Charlie retired their summer days were spent exploring the Maine Coast. After Charlie's death Ethel became a resident of Woodlands Assisted Living of Brewer, where she happily spent her days playing cards with her new friends. Ethel was employed by the Eastern Corp., Brewer, Freese's department store and several local shoe factories. She was an active member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, serving as a greeter and in the funeral ministry. Surviving are two sons, Charles F. Hatch of Hermon and William E. Hatch and his wife, Linda, of Brewer; grandchildren, Aaron C. Hatch and his wife, Shannon, of Provo, Utah, Ryan M. Hatch and his wife, Kristen, and Scott S. Hatch and his wife, Erin, all of Bangor; great-grandchildren, Auston Hatch, Italia Hatch and Chancey Hatch of Provo, Utah, and Olivia M. Hatch and Lauryn E. Hatch of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother; sisters, Mary and Catherine; and brother, Robert Moore."
