"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 30 April 1998, p. 17: "Augusta - Marjorie Hodgkins, 75, of Fairview Avenue, Augusta, and formerly of Bangor and Brewer, died unexpectedly. Wednesday April 29, 1998 at Maine General Medical Center Augusta. She was born in Augusta May 13, 1922, the daughter of William and Shophie (Linnell) Hall. Mrs. Hodgkins was a graduate of Cony High School, Class of 1940. While at Cony she was a member of a string trio group. The other two members were her sisters, Harriet and Virginia. She was a homemaker in her own home for most of her life and was a member of the Cony High School Class of 1940 Reunion Committee. She was predeceased by her husband, Dana Hodgkins, in 1988, and a sister, Virginia. Surviving are six sons, Bryan Hodgkins, David Hodgkins, Dennis Hodgkins, Timothy Hodgkins, Peter Hodgkins and Randy Hodgkins; one daugnter, Patricia Chadwick; one sister, Harriet Hubley; seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters."
