[51392] The typescript pamphlet "The Perkins Family in Castine, Brooksville and Penobscot, ME," Grace Lymburner (1948) in the Boston (MA) Public Library states Nathaniel m. Marian Mills and lists their children. He is perhaps the Nathaniel Perkins (1808-1884) whose grave marker is in the Nathaniel Perkins Cemetery, Penobscot, Hancock Co., ME, buried with wife Eliza (1813-1893) and son Horatio (1847-1909). For his maritime history see "Maritime History of Brooksville," Capt. LeCain W. Smith (Brooksville Historical Society, 2005), p. 72.

[36281] See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Willoughby,_1st_Baron_Willoughby_de_Broke which offers: "Robert Willoughby was born at Brooke-in-Westbury, Wiltshire, the son of Sir John Willoughby of the family of the Barons Willoughby of Eresby, seated at Eresby Manor near Spilsby, Lincolnshire. His mother was Anne Cheney, 2nd daughter of Sir Edmund Cheyne (d.1430) of Brooke-in-Westbury, by Alice Stafford, daughter of Sir Humphrey Stafford II of Hooke, and aunt to Humphrey Stafford, 1st Earl of Devon(d.1469). Edmund Cheyne was the eldest son of Sir Ralph Cheyne (c. 1337-1400) of Poyntington, Somerset, by Joan Pavely, daughter & co-heiress of Sir John Pavely of Brooke/Broke manor, Heywood, near Westbury, Wiltshire." Ancestry.com offers: "Willoughby Name Meaning - English: habitational name from any of the various places called Willoughby, for example in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Warwickshire. They are named from an Old English wilig willow + Old Norse býr farm, settlement, or perhaps in some cases from wilig + Old English beag ring."
[44659] Robert and Elizabeth and the line are from the unverified file at https://www.genealogy.com/ftm/m/a/n/Ray-J-Mann which is in serious need of documentation.
