He also worked part-time for Adams & Jordan Oil Co., St. Joseph Hospital and Brewer Shop N Save. Foster was a member of the Dedham Congregational Church, past master of Victory Grange #538, and a member of Rising Sun Lodge #71 for over 70 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene of 63 years, a son, Stephen 'Steve' Gray and several siblings. Surviving are a son, Wayne and his wife Joan of Dedham; daughter-in-law, Marilyn 'Pokey' Gray of Brewer; one grandson, Shawn Gray and his fiancé, Kim Tripp of Bangor; two granddaughters, Brandy Jo Ellis and husband James of Brewer, Amanda 'Mandy' Savoy and husband, Jason of Milford; one great granddaughter, Michela Malchiodi of Brewer; one brother, Alvertie Gray, Jr. of Orland."
