Compton's Encyclopedia (via America Online, 1995):
George IV (born 1762, ruled 1820-30). Although he posed as "the first
gentleman of Europe," George IV, who preferred pleasures to performing his
duties, was an incompetent ruler. As he admitted himself, he "was rather too
fond of women and wine." He became crippled by gout.
He treated his queen, Caroline of Brunswick, badly. When he tried to
divorce her, the British public was angered. The divorce problem was ended by
her death in 1821.
George's defects of character and failure as a ruler were in some measure
made up for by his hatred of violence, his intellectual abilities, and his
fine judgment in the arts. He recognized the literary genius of Jane Austen
and made Walter Scott a baronet. He sponsored the restoration of Windsor
Castle and aided the architect John Nash, who developed Regent's Park in
London. When George died in 1830, he was followed on the throne by his
brother William IV.

[37026] This person is from the Ritter Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2014 which states Johann arrived in Phiadelphia, PA in 1740 and is son of Sebastian Luckenbach (1650-1707) and Catherina Gross (d. 1750). A file in Ancestry.com in 2014 offers: "Johann Gerradt(3), Luckenbach (Sebastian, 2 , Jacob,1 ) was born March 16, 1683/84 in Winkelbach, Westerwald, Hessen-Nassau, Germany, and died 1758 in York County, PA. He married Anna Catherina Crobach September 22, 1706 in Höchstenbach, Westerwald, Hessen, Germany, daughter of Johann Croppach and Catharina ?. She was born April 18, 1688 in Winkelbach, Westerwald, Hessen-Nassau, Germany, and died January 10, 1749/50 in York County, PA. Notes for Johann Gerradt Luckenbach:John Gerradt Luchenbach, the emigrant ancestor of the family, was a native of Winckelbach, near Hachenburg, Nassau, Germany. He arrived with his family at Philadelphia on the ship "Samuel and Elizabeth" from Rotterdam, on September 30, 1740. Appearing under his name on the ship's list of male passengers were those of his two sons, Johan Adam, age 27, Johan Heinrich, age 18. His age was given as 50. His decision to leave Germany was undoubtedly timed with the accession of Frederick the Great to the throne, who immediately began great preparations for wars of attrition, including the invasion of Silesia. The first twenty-four years of his life had already been spent on a constant battleground, the boundary war between Germany and France, 1688-1697, concluded by the Peace of Westphalia, and the War of the Spanish Succession, 1703-1714, concluded by the Peace of Baden. Probably foreseeing nothing better for the future and having two sons of military age, he moved his family to PA where there was peace, religious tolerance and plenty. He settled in the western part of Lancaster County, now York County, in the townships of Dover and Paradise. His first land record appearing in the county records is the transfer of 190 acres in Dover and Paradise Townships " To Henry Lookinbaugh, son of the aforesaid John Gerradt". His will was probated in 1758, in which he left his estate to his wife and second son, John Henry. His reason for cutting off his older son, John Adam, the school master, is obscure. Perhaps it was because John Adam married a girl of the Moravian faith, moved to Berks County, and was buried in the old Moravian Cemetery at Bethlehem, PA, in 1785. More About Johann Gerradt Luckenbach: Immigration: September 30, 1740, Took Oaths to Government as GerhartProbate: 1758, Left estate to wife and Johann Heinrich."
