[31196] Jacob r. Saville Twp., Perry Co., PA in 1900 and 1910. He served in the Union Army during the War Between the States (Co. F, 208th PA Regiment). "The Perry County Times [New Bloomfied, PA], 28 January 1926," p. 3: "Jacob R. Bender, an aged resident of Elliottsburg. who made his home with his daughter, Mrs. E. L. Hall, died at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, after having been sticken with a paralytic stroke while sitting at the breakfast table Thursday morning. He remained in an unconscious condition until he passed away. The deceased was born April 19, 1841, at the time of his death being aged 84 years, 9 months and 4 days. He served his country during the Civil War. The following children survive him: Blanche, Mrs. E. L. Hall; Harriet, Mrs. J. W. Rice, of Elliottsburg; John, of Carlisle; Cloyd, of Ickesburg; Stanley, of Kitzmiller, and Ada, Mrs. John C. Hench, of Kistler. His wife and one child preceded him in death. Interment was made Monday at 2 p. m., in the Buffalo Cemetery at Saville."

"The Akron Beacon Journal [Akron, Ohio], 20 August 1956," p. 4: "Munroe Falls - Funeral services were held in the Gregory Funeral Home this afternoon for Mrs. Sara M. Ritzman, 87, of 325 S. Main st. She died in her home Thursday after a long illness. A native of Coventry, Mrs. Ritzman had lived in Millheim 10 years and the rest of her life in Munroe Falls. She was the widow of the late William Ritzman who died last January. They had been married 64 years. Burial was in Stow Cemetery."
