[3671] AKA Nicholas Plukiel of Oisy, superintendent of Tournai, lord of Avesnes, Landrecies, Leuze and Condé 1147 - acquired the title 'lord of Avenes' from his greatgreatgrandfather Waudru of Avesnes, apparently because no other heirs were available. For this line see the unverified web site (2003): http://www.stirnet.com/HTML/genie/continent/aa/avesnes1.htm. Also see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_d'Oisy,_Lord_of_Avesnes. Cf. http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/HAINAUT.htm. Cf. https://gw.geneanet.org which calls hin "Chevalier-Seigneur d' Avesnes et Oisy le verger".
