"The Boydstun Family," Gustine Courson Weaver (Cincinnati, OH: Powell & White, 1927), p. 31: "Sir Ralph Box was knighted Oct. 25, 1689. He had two children, Mahulda born 1702 and John who married Lydia Story, the daughter of Elisha Story. Mahulda married Thomas Boyd's son - John Box came from England and settled at Charlestown, Mass. (now Boston) where he married Lydia Story, born March 26, 1718-19 - and was a daughter of Elisha Story who lived where Paul Revere's house subsequently was built, near the old South Church of Boston. ...Thomas Boyd's son began spelling the name Boydson - This descendant was the first of the family who came to America being the son or grandson of Cornelius. The name was hence often spelled Borlstone as well as Boydstone with many variations throughout the different generations."

[58645] Harold's obituary: "Harold Martin Harper Sr., 64, died peacefully in his sleep, Aug. 30, 2008, with his beloved wife, Dianne, by his side at Penobscot Valley Hospital. Harold was born Feb. 3, 1944, in Bangor, the son of Earl and Louise Harper. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force September 1961, where he earned his GED. Harold attended two years of college and served as airman third class at U.S. Air Force Base, Amarillo, Texas, as a military police officer. After receiving an honorable discharge July 1965, he moved back to Maine and began a 40-year truck-driving career. He met his wife, to whom he was married 40 years. He was a charter member of Brewer Eagles Club and a member of Howland American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Harper of West Enfield; children, Michael Harper and his wife, Joyce, of Jacksonville, Texas, Harold Harper Jr. and his fiance, Jayne, of West Enfield, Bobbie Jo (Harper) Awalt and husband, Barry, of Lincoln and Corey Harper and his wife, Lea, of Argyle; siblings, A. Henry Harper Sr., George Harper Sr., Elizabeth Ireland, Larry Harper Sr., Kenneth Harper Sr. and Joan Pelkey; grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Chase, Cade, Alexis, Cole and Owen; stepgrandchildren, Stephanie, Channing and Kyle; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sam McKinnon. He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Louise; and a brother, Donald."

[8326] "Livingston County Daily Press and Argus [Howell, Michigan], 29 November, 1995," p. 18: "Ethelyn Arvord Yago. 89. of Howell, died on Nov. 22 at Medllodge of Howell. Mrs. Yago was born on Aug. 3, 1906, the daughter of John William and Elma (Beatty) Tucker in Pioneer, Ohio. She married Charles E. Yago on April 8, 1926. in Howell and he preceded her in death in 1983. At the age of 8, she moved from Ohio to the Webberville area and later to the Mason School district. After her marriage, she lived on the family farm on Sober Road until 1962, when they moved to Chandler, Ariz. She lived there, traveling to the Navaho lands for fishing trips, until the death of Charles in 1983, when she moved back to Howell. Surviving are three daughters, Betty Smyth of Howell, Patricia Therrien of DeWltt, and Marilyn Wllber of Charlotte; two sons, Charles E. Yago Jr. of Michigan and Robert Yago of Fowlerville; 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister, Florence Reed of Webberville. Mrs. Yago was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles, on June 26, 1983, and two daughters. Phyllis in 1927 and Flora Brockman In 1992. Services were held on Nov. 25 at the Liverance Funeral Home in Fowlerville, Dr. David Russel of the First United Methodist Church of Howell officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville."
