[22354] Jean Mayo-Lakatos reports in 2003: Elizabeth "was born on July16,1706 in Harwich, Mass. She married on Oct.10,1726 in Harwich, Ebenezer Nickerson.Ebenezer was born in Harwich on June 13,1697 and he died in Provincetown on Feb.15,1768 at the age of about 71. I don't see another marriage for Elizabeth Mayo at all. The children of Elizabeth Mayo and Ebenezer Nickerson were: 1.Seth Nickerson: b.1737; d.1801; married Mar.19?,1761...hard to read...to Mary Smith of Chatham. Their child was named Capt. Ebenezer Nickerson; b.1768; d.1857; married secondly on Sept. 28,1805 in Provincetown, Eudoxa White. He moved to Boston.Ebenezer Nickerson and Eudoxa White had a child named Rev. Thomas White Nickerson, Sr., who was born in Boston in 1826 and died in 1905. On Jan. 6,1848, in Boston, the Rev.Nickerson married Martha Tillinghast Wescott(1829-1868).Martha and the Rev.had a son named Philip Tillinghast Nickerson, born on Sept. 17,1862 in Brookline, Mass. That is all I have on that line. My source is:"The Genealogy of Rev. John Mayo" by E. Jean Mayo. If Elizabeth Mayo's husband, Ebenezer Nickerson was about 71 when he died in 1768,and Elizabeth appears to have been 9 years younger or thereabouts than her husband, she would have been about 62 when he died."
