Grindle (b. 4 Dec 1834/5); Joseph shows in Verona, ME in the 1860 census as a sea captain and in 1850 in Penobscot in the household of Luxford Stover (b. ca. 1787, farmer). In 1860 Joseph was in the household of Samuel Door and Irene S. - Mary A. Grindle, b. ca. 1826, was also residing there and was probably his wife.
