(1) in 1140 Eustace, Count of Boulogne (1127?-1153), and (2) in 1154 Raymond V, Count of Toulouse (d. 1196). http://www.guide2womenleaders.com/womeninpower/Womeninpower1150.htm offers: "Her first husband, Count Eustache IV.of Boulogne, Duke of Normandie and Heir to the English Throne died in 1153 and the following year she married Raimondo V of Toulouse. She was the first Countess of Toulouse to use the title of Duke, she often signed official documents with the title "Regina" or "Dux Narbonnæ", but at her seal she used the title "Ducissa". The couple was divorced 1165. She was daughter of king Louis VI in his second marriage to Adelaide de Savoie, the mother of four children . . . ."

[33425] This line is from the unverified Cooper Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012. "The News-Chronicle [Shippinsburg, Pennsylvania], 14 July 1944," p. 4: "Sixty-five years ago Alva Curtis Clugston entered the mercantile business at Doylesburg, in Path Valley, at the age of 24. Today, as this same person prepares to celebrate his 90th birthday, Clugston General Store has become a vital part of the community of Doylesburg. Not only does Mr. Clugston provide the citizens of Doylesurg with groceries, clothing and the other items that constitute the stock of a general store, but he also furnishes one and all, free of charge, a keen sense of humor and human understanding that have not been dulled by the passing of four score and ten. Mr. Clugston first entered business with his father, the late Dr. Isaac Clugston in 1879, and in 1881 he opened a store of his own. Accounts of the hardships that merchants of those days encountered included tales of numerous trips over the mountains to Shippensburg where he purchased merchandise, packed it on horses, and then made the trip back over the mountains. 'A traveling salesman was a welcome sight in those days,' related this venerable merchant. 'I was always glad to be able to buy anything that would save me a journey over the mountains.'"

[1047] This line requires further research. See notes for wife, Julia Ann Archer. Vivian I. (Kenniston) Conner states that places and dates of birth and death are from VR. However, the 1870 census of Santa Cruz, CA lists a Samuel Dunn, age 52, huckster, b. in ME, probably the same man as Samuel Dunn, age 42, listed as a miner in Twp. 3, Tuolumne Co., CA in the 1860 census. NEHGR (Oct. 1937) 91:320 states from the 1850 census that Samuel Dunn, miner, born in ME, and in CA, is age 29. Others named Samuel Dunn are in Hallowell, ME and the Portland, ME area in mid-1880s, but none fits our Samuel (wives are different in the censuses). The LDS Church's IGI file (Batch Number: 5003439, Sheet: 42, Source Call No.: 1553219 - not verified) states that Samuel (son of Samuel Dunn and Dorcas Cobb) was b. 11 Sept 1806 in Machias, ME. See "Early Narraguagus River Families of Washington County, Maine," Darryl B. Lamson and Leonard F. Tibbetts (Rockport, ME: Picton Press, 2002), p. 276 which states his wife, Julia Ann, divorced him "when he wanted to 'go west' and she didn't 184?".

He held the fortress of Trepol in Kiev in 1193, and was stationed at Torchesk on the Ros River in 1207 when he was driven out by Vsevolod 'Chermnyi' and fled to the principality of Smolensk where he took the eastern outpost of Torzhok. He invaded Novgorod in 1208, installing himself as prince in place of Sviatoslav Vsevolodich. As Prince of Novgorod, he defeated the principality of Vladimir at Lipitsa in 1216 in order to defend Novgorodian autonomy and commerce. He left Novgorod in 1217 after being asked to intervene in Galich by Leszko I Prince of Krakow, expelled Kálmán of Hungary from Galich in 1218 and established himself as Prince of Galich. He was himself expelled in 1219 by Hungary, but expelled the Hungarians again in 1221 remaining in control until 1226. He negotiated a protective alliance with his father-in-law against the Mongols, but their forces were crushed at the River Kalka 16 Jun 1223. m --- Kuman princess, daughter of Kuthen [Köten] Khan of Kumans.
