"The Perry County Democrat [Bloomfield, Pennsylvania]," 26 June 1901, p. 3: "A quiet home wedding was solemnized in this place Wednesday evening of last week, when Rev. Ira George Briner and Miss Jessie Camilla Comp were united in the holy bonds of wedlock. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. J. Rudisill, of Mt. Carmel, Pa., assisted by Rev. S. C. Alexander, D.D., of Millerstown, and Rev. F. T. Wheeler, of this place. None but the immediate families of the bride and groom were present. The happy couple left the same evening for Bluffton, Ohio, where they will reside. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. R. M. Alexander, of this place, and is a most charming and popular young lady. Rev.
