[59421] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 26 June 2010: "Bear, Del. - Clyde M. Moore, longtime Boeing electrician, 71, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 24, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Originally from Castine, Clyde graduated from Bucksport High School and served four years of active duty in the U.S. Navy. After an additional two years in the Naval Reserves, Clyde began a lifetime career at Boeing Vertol, Ridley Township, Delaware County. He was an outstanding employee who received many commendations throughout his 34 years with the company. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Michele Carol (Greenwell); sister, Lois Moore Cyr and Paul of Castine; sons, Christopher and Nyree of Deptford, N.J., and Thomas of Glenolden, Pa.; and daughters, Michele Mary and fiance, Timothy Keegan, of Wilmington Del., and Marie-Elena Simone and Carlo of Ridley Park, Pa. Clyde was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; and Pop-Pop to three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all, including his loyal pal, Norman."
[17770] Ref. http://www.tulpehockenroots.org/meyer/p00000ct.htm which reports he m. (2) 15 Jan 1851 Catharine Lerch.
[44800] Ann's proposed pedigree is at https://fabpedigree.com/s093/f657786.htm. However, see https://www.geni.com/people/Ann-Pitman/6000000009343495380 which offers: "Did William Pitman marry Ann Roberts, daughter of William Roberts? No, probably not. Her name was Ann and thatÂ’s all we know. The theory that Ann was the daughter of William Roberts is based on the fact that William Pitman lived on the land of William Roberts rent free for a short period of time according to Walter Goodwin Davis. Arguing strongly against this theory is the conveyance the estate of William Roberts into 1/5th of shares which proves that he only had five heirs. His son was 'simple' and died leaving no children. There were four living daughters each of whom received 1/5 shares. The last 1/5 share was divided between the children an unnamed daughter who had married 1st John Sias, the elder, 2nd Salathiel Denbow and 3rd William Graves. If William Roberts had another daughter, Ann he would have divided his estate into sixths not fifths! Everett Schermerhorn Stackpole points out in the history of History of Durham, NH (p 52 and p p.319) that William Roberts sold land to William Pitman and his son Ezekiel Pitman. However, this was as part of a legal settlement resulting from a default and probably has nothing to do with his relationship to William Pitman. William Roberts at the same time also sold land to Thomas Doughty who had no relationship with William Roberts. In other words this was a forced sale by the court and arms length transactions."
[28373] Clayton D. Hutchins posted in the Waldo Co., ME GenWeb site that Susan is daughter of Amos Sylvester and Polly Fall, and provided her dates - he reports that Susan and John Hutchins also had Albertina (1855); Asahel S. (1856); Sarah L. (1860); Fred H. (1864); Albina M. (1866); and Fannie M. B. (1869).
