He was a member and past master of Hancock Lodge 4, AF and AM, a charter member and past president of the Castine Lions Club, a life member of the S. K. Whiting Chapter, O.E.S., a member of Castine Grange 250, and an honorary member of the Castine Men's Club. He owned and operated his own business in Castine for over 50 years. He served m the Army during World War I. He is survived by his wife, Marie O., of Castine; a son, Willis, of Castine; two grandchildren, Marcia Mower of Castine, and Everett Leach of Castine; and several nieces and nephews."

Born in Gowen City on August 1883, Mr. Rebuck was a son of the late Joseph and Caroline Rebuck. He had been last employed as a miner at Locust Gap Colliery. He was a member of the Shamokin Odd Fellows, Shamokin Moose, and the Helfenstein Reformed Church. Surving are his wife, the former Emma Straub; three daugh- [break in article] Wetzel of Ashland, Kathryn at home, Mrs. William Haupt of Trevorton, and Darwin of Sandusky, O.; three grandchildren, including William Stine, serving with the U.S.Marines and Judith, who both reside at the Rebuck home; and three brothers, Harvey of Shamokin, Harry of Yeagerstown, Winnie Middletown. . . . Internment will be in Chist Church Cemetery at Fountain Springs."
