Schwalm, mother of John Schwalm, of the P. & R. ticket office here, died very suddenly at her nome, at Hegins, last Wednesday. Besides the husband, who is the widely known justice of the peace, there survive: John, a son, and three daughters, namely: Annie, at home; Mrs. Norman Snyder, also at home, and Bertha, married." Find A Grave memorial 62563752 offers: "Alvaretta Fisher was the daughter of Caleb Farley Fisher and Elizabeth Fetterman. She married Alfred A. Schwalm in 1877 in PA. Alvaretta died from apoplexy and was buried 19 Apr 1913."

Hatch, 73, died Sept. 15, 1976 at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 4, 1903 at Kingman,, son of John and Jessie (McKenney) Hatch. He was a lumberman for many years in this area. He is survived by his wife Rosamond (Archer) Hatch of Guilford; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Sudsbury of Exeter, Mrs. Shirley Hunt of Massachusetts; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews."
