[9520] "The Times [Streator, Illinois], 24 March 1975," p. 4: "Mrs. James (Marian) Leger, 69, Marseilles, died in Staunton community hospital, Staunton, at 8:45 p.m. Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Leger were returning home from Brownsville, Tex. when she suddenly became ill and was taken to the Staunton hospital. She had been in ill health for a number of years. Macoupin county coroner is investigating her death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seals-Campbell chapel, Marseilles. Rev. Lawrence Thompson of Brookfield Presbyterian church will officate. Burial will be in Galloway cemetery, Marseilles. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. today at the chapel. Mrs. Leger was born in Rock Rapids, Iowa, Dec. 21, 1905, a daughter Van and Lizzie (Hoag ) Briner. In 1929, she married James Leger of Marseilles. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Russell of Marseilles and Paul of Racine, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Paul and Mrs. Carol Brockman, both of Marseilles; 13 grandchildren; a greatgrandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Hans (Jenny) Harms of Streator and Mrs. Frank (Angeline) Enockson and Mrs. Martin (Lois) Morey both of Marseilles and brother, Henry Briner of Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters."

Find A Grave Memorial 55232634 offers: "Thompson Conley was born in October 1852 in Leesburg, Tennessee (Washington County), the youngest of at least nine children born to Josiah Conley (1804-1865) and Mary Ann Allison (1809-1852). His siblings included: Robert Allison, Rute H., James, John Alexander, Nancy Jane, Ann Eliza, William T., and Mary A. In 1850, at age two, he was living with his parents and siblings in Washington County, Tennessee. On February 5, 1876, in Dallas County, Texas, he married Ella Merrell (1854-1878). They had one child, Cornelia, born in 1877. On October 10, 1882, in Dallas County, Texas, he married Sarah Johnson. They had at least seven children including Tullia, Adeline, Horace Alexander, Julia Dora, Olin W., Ruth, and Thompson Johnson. In 1900, he was living in Lexington, Cleveland County, Oklahoma with his wife Sarah and their seven children: Tullia, age 15, born January 1885; Addie, age 13, born March 1887; Horace A., age 10, born December 1889; Julia A., age 8, born October 1891;, Olin W., age 7, born July 1893;, Ruth, age 1, born Jun 1898; and Tom, age 2/12, born March 1900. Thompson died in November 1936 in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County and was buried there in the Lexington Cemetery. Sarah died in 1943 in Lexington and was buried beside her husband."
