Rachel is survived by a son, Lloyd Fowler of Brooksville; a sister, Callie Gray of Orrington; a son-in-law, Lawrence Matthews; seven grandchildren, Ronna, Randy, Bruce, Barry, Jody, Valerie and Julie; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; a son, Basil; a daughter, Priscilla; and granddaughters, Karen Lea and Karen Sue."

He was a short-lived, uncrowned king of England. Also earl of March &
Pembroke, the second king of the house of York. He was created prince of
Wales in 1471. As a result of the power struggle between his paternal
uncle Richard, duke of Gloucester, and his maternal uncle Anthony
Woodville, 2d Earl Rivers (1442?-83), both Edward and his brother,
Richard, duke of York, were confined in the Tower of London shortly after
their father's death in April 1483. They were not seen again outside the
tower. Because the duke of Gloucester had them declared bastards and
usurped the throne as Richard III in June 1483, it is reasonable to
suppose that he had them assassinated. No circumstantial evidence exists,
however. It is possible, for instance, that they survived Richard and were
later slain by his successor, Henry VII of the house of Tudor, to whose
title they would have been a threat. The belief that Richard instigated
their murder was advanced by Tudor historians.

He was born on November 13, 1947, in Danforth, Maine, the son of Rex W. and Frances M. (Buchannon) Foss. A graduate of Hermon High School, Butch was a proud and well-known fixture in the Bangor community. For 44 years, he owned and operated Union Street Citgo and Union Street Towing - a business he built from the ground up and poured his heart and soul into. Butch could've done anything he wanted - he was the boss, after all - but you'd always find him in the tow truck, right there alongside his crew. From day one until the day he sold the business, that's where he wanted to be, and that's exactly where he was, every single day. Butch took immense pride in his business and the relationships he built along the way. He was known for his no-nonsense attitude, and if he told you something you didn't want to hear, it was probably because he was right. His honesty, work ethic, and larger-than-life presence made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Away from work, Butch had a deep passion for golf, especially during his cherished time spent in Pinehurst, where many lasting memories were made on the course. He was also a true speed enthusiast- living life in the fast lane with a love for fast cars and even faster snowmobiles, always chasing the next thrill with his adventurous spirit. More than anything, Butch valued time. He lived each day to its fullest, creating moments that will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him. His legacy lives on - in every story shared, every lesson taught, and yes, every time a Union Street truck rolls by. Butch is survived by his loving companion of many years, Holly Scott of Orrington; his two children, Theresa Foss and her fiancé, John, of Hampden, and Clifford Foss and his wife, Lisa, of South Hadley, Massachusetts. He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Hannah Hutchins and her husband, Kellen, of Hampden, Brice Foss of Fayetteville, NC, Halei Foss of South Hadley, MA, and Alissa Ekren and her husband, Enes, of Arlington, MA. He also leaves behind one great-grandchild, Sailor Hutchins. He is also survived by his sister, Frances Taylor and her husband, Robert, of Fairfield; as well as several nieces and nephews. Butch will be fondly remembered by Holly's family, with whom he was especially close, Heath Miller and his wife, Heather, and their children, Ethan and Makayla, and Lee Miller and his wife, Bethany, and their children, Brody and Brayden."

He and his brothers Raimond and Hugues called themselves sons of the 'most noble count William' in a late-11th century document. He succeeded in [1087] as Comte de Mâcon, Seigneur de Varasque. He was regent of Bourgogne-Comté during the absence of his older brother on the First Crusade. He himself joined the Crusade some time after the death of his brother. He commanded troops with Etienne Comte de Blois; they were defeated by the Turks at Marsivam. William of Tyre records the presence at the second capture of Tortosa in 1102 of 'Stephanus comes Burgundiæ'. Albert of Aix records that he was captured at Ramla and beheaded. - m ([1090]) Beatrix de Lorraine, daughter of Gerard IV Duke of Upper Lotharingia [Lorraine] & his wife Hadwide _____ (-[1116/17]). 'Stephanus comes Burgundie et dominus de Treva' donated property to Cluny by charter dated [1100] in which he refers to his wife as 'filia ducis Lotharingie' but does not name her. The primary source which names her has not yet been identified."

[47407] "Bangor Daily News, 19 May 2003": "Donald K. Wardwell, 82, died May 17, 2003. He was born in Castine June 2, 1920, the son of Frank and Ursula Wardwell. He had retired from the St. Regis Paper Company in 1982 after 37 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 4197 and the 75th Division. As a veteran of World War II, he had taken part in the Battle of the Bulge Campaign in 1944 in Europe. He was a member of the Duck Cove Community Club. After his retirement, his interests had been working in the woods, raising large gardens which he shared with family and friends, reading, and until 1999 spending the summers going to fairs around the state with his daughter and son-in-law, as herdsman for Beechwood Farm. In addition to his wife of 60 years, Phyllis (Soper) Wardwell; he is survived by a daughter, Donna Wilson; two sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Neva, Joel and his fiance, Jan MacDonald, of Bucksport; five grandchildren, Gregory Wilson and wife, Leslie, Gary Wilson and wife, Marie, Kelly Chambers, Todd Wardwell and wife, Joanne, Jennifer Wardwell and friend, Sandra Sanderson; 10 great-grandchildren, Cody, Cassie, Chelsea, McKayla and Matte Wilson, Jacob and Paige Chambers, Dylan Thibodeau, Jared and Kellen Wardwell; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend, Helen Wardwell of Bucksport. He was predeceased by a son, Michael, who died in Vietnam in 1967; five brothers, Arthur, Ernest, Robert, William and Douglas; and four sisters, Marie Wood, Doris Pratt, Marguerite Heal and Pauline Sliney; and his son-in-law, Wilbur Wilson."
