In 1479, her father arranged her betrothal to Philip the Handsome, eldest son of Maximilian, Archduke of Austria. Her father's death when she was eight, however, precluded the conclusion of all precontracts. She and her siblings were declared illegitimate by act of Parliament in 1483, the act was repealed by Henry VII in 1486. She married Thomas Howard, Third Duke of Norfolk, on February 4, 1494 in Greenwich Palace. They had one surviving son who predeceased his mother by three years. She died at age 36."
