She and John Scruggs also had Susan Scruggs (b. 8 March 1831, d. 25 April 1831), John Jarnigan Scruggs (b. 5 Feb 1839, d. 13 Sept 1839), George Washington Scruggs (b. 11 Feb 1848, d. 30 April 1849), Zachary Taylor Scruggs (b. 11 June 1848, d. 30 April 1856) and Rufus Scruggs (b. 28 Aug 1850, d. 21 Oct 1856).
