[37574] See Find A Grave memorial 51277709 which offers: "Genealogy of the Bergey Family, A Record of the Descendants of John Ulrich Bergey and his wife Mary," David Hendricks Bergey, M.D.1925: "Whether John Ulrich was married before coming to America has not been learned; neither has it been ascertained what was the surname of his wife Mary. Heckler, in his History of Lower Salford township, states that 'there is some reason to believe that she was a daughter of Gerhart Clemens,' but the reason for this belief has not been discovered. The records of the Gerhart Clemens family do not support the belief".

[45701] Daniel and Mary are from the unverified file LZXZ-TZB in 2019 in familysearch.org which reports "Daniel as a young man lived with his mother and step-father, who was a maltster. He learned the trade, and became a maltster as an adult. A maltster was a maker of malt, hence beer or ale. In 1656, Daniel bought thirty acres of land in Portsmouth, and at a town meeting that year was received formally into the community. He continued to live in Portsmouth for more than twenty years . He took an active interest in public affairs, serving on the petit and grand juries, and for several years was constable. The constable was an important man in those days, collecting taxes or "rates", acting in the capacity of trial justice and as conservator of the peace. About 1679, Daniel left the island. He moved to the mainland settlement of Little Compton, to which had also come a number of settlers from the northeast, some of them descendants of the Mayflower Pilgrims. Intermarriages soon took place between the newcomer families and the Rhode Island families. Of these, Daniel married Lydia, the granddaughter of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, legendary characters of the Pilgrim saga."
[60177] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 5 August 2011: "Bucksport - Austin G. O'Donnell, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, in Bangor. He was born Dec. 31, 1929, in Bucksport, the son of Charles W. and Beatrice (French) O'Donnell. He was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He delivered meals to senior citizens for more than 20 years, was a member of Arbutus Grange No. 450, Surry, most recently serving as master, was a member of Hancock-Pomona Grange No. 13, where he and his wife received numerous awards, he was president of Duck Cove Community Club and was a member of East Bucksport Methodist Church. Austin retired from St. Regis Paper Mill in 1990 after 40 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pauline (Anderson) O'Donnell; two daughters, Suzette O'Donnell and fiance, Christopher Tapley, of Bucksport and Lynette Carter and husband, Larry, of Casco; grandchildren, Alan Carter, Denise Noone and husband, Mike, Jan Carter and Dave Carter; three great-grandchildren, Rebecca Noone, Kaitlin Lane and Kayla Rose Bergen; two sisters, Margaret Gray and Eva Allen and her husband, Vincent; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
