[47850] The unverified https://www.eeterms.com/tree/hinkley_hodsdon/family_blake_bakeman.html offers: "Prudence married Henry Dyer (11 Aug 1776-1825) on 28 Jul 1801 in Penobscot. They remained in Hancock County. They had at least three children: unknown boy (180x-181x); Ruth Hodgdon (12 Nov 1814-12 May 1906) - m. Michael Boyce about 1840; Lucy J. (10 Jan 1826-20 Jan 1901) - m. John P. Johnson on 16 Oct 1842. The 1810 census showed them with one boy. The 1820 census showed them with one girl. Henry died in 1825. A Prudence Dyer married Nathaniel Ripley from Belfast on 9 Apr 1830 in Montville, Waldo County, but I dont know if that was her. Prudence reportedly died in Brookville in 1850."

[283] Lucy Jane and her husband John F. Peterson are shown in the 1860 census of Penobscot, Hancock Co., ME in the home of her parents along with Herman Echinagucia, age 6. Her father willed Lucy Jane all his land on the north side of the Castine to Blue Hill road in the town of Penobscot, along with his residence and personal property. Her brother, Amos, was willed about 30 acres on the south side of the road. A postal card 2 Oct 1902 from "Uncle Eben" states his new addrss is Rural Route 3, Minneapolis, MN - is he the half-brother to her mother? Lucy Jane is in the household of Fred M. Conner, her son-in-law, in the 1910 census of Castine, ME, age 76 and a widow. Lucy is said to be buried in the front lawn of her home at 175 Dunbar Road (the road from Castine to Blue Hill) in Penobscot, ME - the present barn (painted red behind the current house) is said to be her original house/home.

[56772] Find A Grave memorial 269877833 offers: "S/o Earl Douglas Hersey & Amanda Almira Lamson. Grandson of Leverett H. (b. 1816) & Catherine Ann (Chase) Hersey. Great-Granson of Samuel Hersey., Jr. (b. 1776). Built the old Apostolic Pentecostal Assembly, that was on the Muckatee/Hoyt Rd., in Monticello, Maine, about 1940."
[23548] Ancestry.com offers: "Mayberry Name Meaning - English and Irish: of uncertain origin; most probably an altered form of Mowbray. It is also found as Maybury, which has the form of an English habitational name. There is a place near Woking in Surrey so called; however, this is not recorded until 1885 and is probably derived from the surname. In England this surname is found mainly in the West Midlands; it has also spread into Wales. In Ireland this form is common in Ulster; MacLysaght records that it was taken there from England in the 17th century."
