Her sister Devorguilla, Lady of Potheringhay, m. to John Baliol of Barnard Castle, Regent of Scotland and Lord of Teesdah, who died in 1269 (he is gggrandson of Guy Baliol, Lord of the Forest of Teesdah, per Collins, "Royal Ancestors...," p. 31). Find A Grave Memorial 112596903 offers: "Second but eldest surviving daughter of Alan FitzRoland (Roland FitzUhtred), Lord of Galloway and his first wife, the daughter of Roger de Lacy. Granddaughter of Roland of Galloway and Eleanor/Helen de Morville, and Roger de Lacy, Constable of Chester. Helen was the first wife of Sir Roger de Quincy, 2nd Earl of Winchester, the eldest surviving son and heir to Saher de Quincy and Margaret de Beaumont. Her maritagium included the manor of Kippax, Yorkshire. They had three daughters: Margaret, wife of Sir William de Ferrers, Earl of Derby; Elizabeth, wife of Sir Alexander de Comyn, Earl of Buchan; Ellen, wife of Sir Alan la Zouche of Ashby La Zouche. Helen was alive November of 1245, and buried at Brackley. Roger would marry another two times; to Maud de Bohun and Eleanor de Ferrers."

[47241] Gustine on 5 June 1917 was manager of the fish market in Wardwell's Sanitary Market, Castine, according to his draft registration; the 1930 & 1940 federal censuses list him at 8 Green Street, Castine, and as manager of a grocery store. "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 8 October 1976," p. 21: "Castine - Gustine L. Wardwell, 82, died here Oct 7. He was born in Penobscot Feb. 12, 1894, son of Frederick and Emma (Perkins) Wardwell. He was a member of the Unitarian Church, the Masons for 50 years and the Order of the Eastern Star. He is survived by a son, Horace F. of Castine; a sister, Emma Preble of Franklin, Mass.; three grandchildren, Wayne F. Wardwell of Attleboro Mass., Enid White of York and Gustine Lee Wardwell of Penobscot; nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews."
