"Bangor Daily News, 18 November 2011": "Ruth M. Farnham, 69, died Nov. 16, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 18, 1942, in Bangor, daughter of Wilber Lloyd and Marie (Clements) Arey. Ruth graduated from Bucksport High School, class of 1960. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked many hours with Sylvia and Bob at their greenhouse. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dennis I. Farnham of Penobscot; four children, Skip Farnham and significant other, Jody Reynolds, of Penobscot, Teresa Higgins and husband, Kevin, of Stockton Springs, Debbie Brown and husband, Roger, of Prospect, and Linda Gray and significant other, Rick Gray, of Penobscot; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Robert Arey and wife, Sylvia, of Penobscot; two sisters, Jean Chambers and husband, Larry, of Bucksport, and Carol LaDeau of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. After the service there will be a gathering at the Higgins home in Stockton Springs. Burial will be at Bay Cemetery, Penobscot."

Centennial Road, died Tuesday, April 24, 1990, at Community Health Center of Branch County after a short illness. He was born in Branch County and was a lifelong resident of the Coldwater area. He served with the Marines during World War II. He was a licensed electrician with Bom Electric and later worked as maintenance supervisor at Coldwater Regional Center for 31-1/2 years, retiring in 1981. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis Loose; daughters, Priscilla Huestis and Teresa Yoder, both of Coldwater, four grandchildren; a brother, Russell Wagar of Union City; and a sister, Betty Woodcox of Coldwater. Kenneth is son of Leo B. Wagar (1902-1974) and Ione Myrtle Clark (1903-1972). He served as a Corporal in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II. Phyllis operated a beauty salon in their home.
