[59999] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 26 July 2025: "Woonsocket, RI, Rhode Island - Lester Eugene Mosley, 98, formerly of Sullivan and Franklin, Maine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at The Friendly Home in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma (Fickett) Mosley and the late Marielle (Beauvais) Connor-Mosley. Born in Ellsworth, Maine, Lester was the son of the late Linwood and Hazel (Coomb) Mosley. He was predeceased by his nine siblings: Neil, Lawrence, Patricia, Gladys, Erma, Merle, Ray, Fay, and Gerald. Lester proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, from September 1945 to February 1947, with service in the Pacific Theater. Following his military service, he gained employment at Ellsworth Building Supply Co. in Ellsworth, Maine. He later became the manager and vice president of L.A. Gray Co. in Hancock, Maine, where he worked until his retirement. In retirement, he enjoyed 25 years as a resident of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. A devoted community member, Lester served as a selectman for the town of Sullivan, Maine. He was also a proud member of the David A. Hooper Masonic Lodge in Sullivan and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fort Myers Beach. Lester is lovingly remembered by both his Maine and Rhode Island families. In Maine, he is survived by Martha White Daley Stoup (Philip), James White (Cheryl), Sandra White Wilson (David), William White (Linda), Cindy Mosley Service (Richard), and Heidi Mosley Heyden (Michael). He was predeceased by Carolyn White McDonald and Thelma Dee Mosley Dunbar (Philip). Lester is also survived by his many grandchildren: Linda Ballard Powers, Dean Ballard, John Daley, Shelly Daley King, James White Jr., Eric White, Nathan DiPompo, David Wilson Jr., April Wilson Glover, Kassandra Dunbar Morse, Rebekah Dunbar, Scott Dunbar, Ryan Service and Samantha Service. He was predeceased by Gerald Daley Jr. and LaurieAnne White Chumbley. Lester leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In Rhode Island, he is survived by Lorie Cadorette (Richard), Sharon A. Erskine (Michael), Darlene M. Leduc (Rene), Michael Connor (Ann Miano), and Sylvie Snow and Bob Stanton. He is also survived by his Rhode Island grandchildren: Janelle Erskine, Michael Erskine, Garrett Erskine, Michael O'Connor, Allison O'Connor, Brittany Constant, Kyle Leduc, Yannick Camara, and Valerie Snow. He was predeceased by John O'Connor and Kerry Cadorette. A military funeral and burial service will be held at Bayview Cemetery in Franklin, Maine, on July 30, 2025, at 12 p.m. The service will be eulogized by his grandson, John Daley, and his nephew, Master Sergeant Randy Mosley, U.S. Army (retired)."

[51214] Deo's obituary: "Winter Harbor - Deo P. Gordon, 65, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born October 12, 1940 in Winter Harbor, the daughter of Philip and Elona (Bunker) Torrey. Deo was a member of Ruby Chapter # , O.E.S. in Winter Harbor. She was very talented at handiwork, and enjoyed many crafts, including pottery and ceramic work, knitting and quilting, and reproduction dolls, for which she was known for painting very life like eyes. Deo was very devoted to her family, and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Russell I. Gordon of Winter Harbor; three sons, Rexford Gordon and his wife Joann of Standish, Glenn Gordon and his wife Kelly of Clinton, Connecticut, and Corey Gordon and his wife Connie Lee of Hancock; five grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Liam, Abigail, and Jeremy; two brothers, Douglas and Dale Torrey; a sister, Weltha Sargent, all of Winter Harbor; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Deo will also be missed by a special friend, Betty Williams of Winter Harbor. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lacey Gordon, and a sister, Constance Atkinson."

She left a will dated March 1598 and recorded in the Archdeaconry Court of Sudbury."
