He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Upper Frankford, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the American Legion in Newville. He is survived bv his wife, Mrs. Edna Jane Baughman Finkenbinder; seven daughters, Mrs. John Bistline, Mrs. Donald Baum and Mrs. Oren Wagner, all of RD4, Carlisle; Mrs. Paul Zeigler, Mrs. Richard Armolt, and Mrs. Haold Chestnut, all of RD3, Newville; and Mrs. Donald Heishman, RD1, Newville; four sons, Glenn, Clearwater, Fla.; Lee and Jay, both of RD4 Carlisle, and Roy, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Bowers, Mrs. Herman Zimmerman, Mrs. Dessie Weigle and Miss Martha Finkenbinder, all of Carlisle; and 22 grandchildren."
