Services will take plac Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Dennis and D'Arcy funeral home, 2011 Main street, with Rev. Eldon Simpson, Jr., associate pastor of the Stratford United Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery. Mr. Sweger was born in Bloomfield, Pa., and was a resident of Stratford 57 years. H was employed by the Biard Machine company 38 years, retiring as a machinist 19 years ago. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War 1. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Whitley Sweger of Stratford; two sons, Edward W. Sweger of Trumbull and Robert M. Sweger of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews." Edward & Sarah had Edward Whitley Sweger (1919-1991) & Robert Moore Sweger (1924-2006).
