She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, by one brother, Phil, and by one sister, Margarete Bassett. [3942] http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/d/c/dcj121/prosop/counts/countyA/county40.htm reports: "In 1122 Adolf of Saffenberg married Margaret of Schwarzenburg, a Bavarian, a niece of Archbishop Frederick I of Cologne. On the occasion of this marriage Adolf was taken into the archiepiscopal mouvance, and he received the cathedral advocacy. Clearly, therefore, the county of the Saffenbergs, first in evidence around 1095, had arrived from the Ezzoner bloc, which points to the probable Ezzoner descent of Adalbert of Saffenbergs wife Mathilde. We can be fairly sure that she was a daughter of the Hessian count Giso III of Hollende, and that she had been married previously but had no children by that marriage."

[45587] "Shamokin News-Dispatch [Shamokin, Pennsylvania]," 24 March 1947, p. 2: "William J. Yasalonis, 65, of 1435 Pulaski Avenue, retired miner and former hotel proprietor, died yesterday morning in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Dutcavich, 205 East Commerce Street. He was in ill health during a period of many months. Mr. Yasalonis was born in Lithuania. He came to the United States in 1904. Upon locating in Shamokin he secured work as a miner at the Henry Clay Colliery and later worked at the Irish Brothers Colliery, but relinquished his mining occupation to enter the hotel business. Mr. Yasalonis conducted hotels on Chemung Street and later on Pulaski Avenue. Twenty-five years ago he disposed of the business and purchased a farm at Union Corners, near Elysburg. During the past two years he made his home with his son-in-law and daughter. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Catherine Yaskiewicz, to whom he was married in 1907, and five children, George and John, both of Shamokin; Mrs. Stanley Osmanski, Mrs. Frank Knovich and Mrs. John Dutcavich, Shamokin. One step-sister, Mrs. Agnes Kane, Lakewood, Ohio, survives, also. Mr. Yasalonis was a member of St. Michael Church, Shamokin, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Danville, and the Lithuanian Club, Mount Carmel."
