Spade, 92, well known Springfield township resident, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs, Perry Harry, of 1615 Englewood av after a short Illness. Born in Springfield township in 1840, one of 13 children, Spade live all his life in the vicinity of Springfield lake. He operated his farm himself until about 20 years ago, when he retired and since then has spent the summers at Uniontown and lived in the winter in Akron. He was a member of the Fifty Year club. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harry, Mrs. George Ritter, of Uniontown and Mrs. Claude McColgan, of Springfield lake, and one son, Curt Spade, of Akron."
