[23600] Mary's ancestry is not verified - it is from the Boydstun Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2010. The town of Boydston, Texas, was named after Henry S. Boydstun. About 1887, Henry and his father, James Berry Boydstun, went from Fort Worth, TX, to the Old Clarendon (TX) area (on the north banks of the north fork of the Red River) and passed through what is now Amarillo, TXs, into northern NM; they returned to Old Clarendon where Henry filed on the first section that was completely on the plains, 18 miles northwest of Clarendon. The first filing was forfeited, but Henry filed again.
