She was born June It 1922 in Beals, daughter of the late Kenneth and Ina (Alley) Beal. Arlene attended Beals schools and was employed as a sardine packer at several canneries including William Underwood and R.B. & C.G. Stevens, Jonesport, and L. Ray Packing Co., Milbridge. She and her first husband Clyde Peabody were employed in ship construction at Bath Iron Works during the early part of World War II. After the war they owned and operated a grocery store in the Alleys Bay district of Beals and for several years Arlene worked as a waitress in Rockport, Mass. She was a member of Beals Community of Christ and Beals Historical Society. Arlene is survived by three sons, Velton Peabody of Independence, Mo., Vernon Peabody and his wife Lillian of Feeding Hills, Mass. and Clyde Peabody, Jr. of Beals, two daughters, Regina Beal and husband Merle Beal of Beals and Gwen Smith of Lees Summit, Mo.; 18 grandchildren, Wayne and Travis Beal, Norita Gale, Glen Seefeldt, Kenneth Peabody, Lorena Leach, Kevin Zheng, Vernon Peabody, Jr., Dana Peabody, Amy Anderson, Jason Blackmore, Virginia King, Stephen Blackmore, Aaron, Charles, Brian, Dixon and Sue Smith; 38 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Olive and her husband Alvin Leon Beal of Beals; a special friend, Harry Walden of Milbridge; numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and two husbands."

[39390] The unverified Deloras Otto Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 provides this person and offers from Wikipedia: "Deacon Edward Convers (1587-1663) was an early Puritan settler in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and was one of the founders of Woburn, MA. He built the first house and first mill in Woburn. Convers was very active in town affairs, serving as one of its first selectmen. He served on 'every committee and had a part in every movement that had this new settlement in view.' He also helped establish Charlestown. He was one of the colony's wealthy landowners, and was a farmer, miller and surveyor. Convers was born February 23, 1587, in Navestock, England. After his first wife died, he married Sarah Smith in 1617. He and his family arrived in Salem, Massachusetts, with the Winthrop Fleet on June 12, 1630, in the early stages of the Great Migration. He also founded the First Church of Charlestown, and established the first ferry from Charlestown to Boston. The ferry operated where the Charles River Bridge is now located, and was referred to as the 'Great Ferry' (to distinguish it from a smaller ferry operating between Charlestown and Winnisimmet). Convers died on August 10, 1663, in Woburn, Massachusetts."

That description followed her throughout her life as she sought to love God and others well, including her family, the people she worked with and the many people who knew her in the community. She was deeply loved by her family, immediate and extended, and everyone she met over the years. Also, Jill enjoyed being a member of Bible Baptist Church of Hancock, ME. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Hancock) Zacharias and husband, Daniel, of Grandview, MO, with their children; son, Mark Hancock and wife, Rebecca, of Mechanicville, NY, with their children and their families; daughter, Sheryl (Hancock) Edgecomb and husband, Steven, of Hancock, with their children; and stepdaughter, Diane (Banks) Shaw and husband, Michael, of Dudley, MA, with children and families. She is also survived by sister, Marilyn Blaisdell of Milford; brothers, twin, Jack Kelley and partner, Marti Flint, of Ellsworth; brother, Richard Kelley and partner, Dorothy Epstein, of Jacksonville, NC; sisters-in-law, Lucy Kelley of Seal Cove, and Dr. Karen L.M. [60780] Dwight's obituary: "Dwight C. Worcester, Sr., 76, passed away peacefully July 12, 2009 at his home in Winterport. Dwight was born in Columbia August 20, 1932 to the late Verrill and Erma (White) Worcester. Dwight grew up and attended school in Columbia Falls. He then served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. Dwight was a lab technician at the University of Maine's Agriculture Engineering Department. He deeply enjoyed the outdoors, and everything the seasons had to bring, especially hunting, fishing, and harvesting blue berries on the family farm. He took great pride in his family and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Another passion of Dwight's were his many faithful dogs of both the past and present. Dwight will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all. Dwight is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Marilyn (Reinhart) Worcester of Winterport, children, Dwight C. Worcester, Jr. and spouse Barbara of Winterport, David A. Worcester and wife Susan of Brewer, Meridee Worcester of Winterport, special grandchildren, Megan A. Worcester of Rumford, Michael Worcester, of Brewer, Kyle I. Worcester and Brittany J.M. Worcester both of Winterport, brothers, Verrill 'Sonny' Worcester, Jr., Everett Worcester and wife Lee, Julia Worcester, Joyce Hillard, and Cassie Hardwick and husband Jim, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dwight was predeceased by his brother David Worcester."
