[25597] Nehemiah is listed in the George Piper household as age 6 in the 1860 federal census. Descendant Mary Fischer reports: "Nehemiah lived in: Fannette Township, Franklin, PA (1860) - Susquehanna, Dauphin, PA (1870) - Shippensburg, Cumberland, PA (1875) - Shelby, Richland, OH (1880) - Greeley, Weld, CO - Montgomery Township, Woodford, IL (1900). Occupation: Laborer (1880 Census), Farming (1900). Family oral history says that Nehemiah also spent time working as a Miner which is probably why he and Emma moved to Colorado."
